The Community Interfaith Council(CIC) has a steering committee of 21 members from diverse religions. The CIC's mission is to provide resources and build opportunities for partnerships in order to better serve the communit's needs. It accomplishes this mission by collaborating with the City of Las Vegas on communtiy issues, connecting with other faith organizations, and engaging the fiath community to more effectively meet the needs of target populations.
About the Council
Our Belief
Many of the organizations within the CIC have experienced positive results through their individual works and ministries. However the growth of our city is outpacing our abilitites to identify and meet necessary social needs. It is going to take a unified effort to address these needs. We believe that Leadership plus multiplied resources and community efforts equal Solutions in Neighborhoods. To multiply our efforts and resources we must work together as a faith community and partner with local/state/federal government and the non-profit organizations.
